Luke Alessi, Australian music producer and DJ, has quickly made a name for himself with his unique sound and ability to tell stories through his music. Since the projects inception in late 2018 Luke Alessi has fast become an artist to take note of, launching with two big EP’s on Unknown Records. He quickly received praise from leading producers both locally and internationally wth his remix of Lastlings’ track ‘Déjà Vu’ on Rose Avenue that gained support from the likes of Black Coffee, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Lane 8 and Made in Paris. In 2019 Luke Alessi continued to gain momentum with his ‘Ara’ EP on Made In Paris’ imprint Upon Access, followed by releases on Australian techno tastemakers Motorik and Ugenius Records, which included remixes from Berlin’s Animal Trainer and Sydney’s Doppel. New music saw even more demand, with sets at Melbourne’s XE54 and Revolver, Sydney’s Civic Underground and Good Bar alongside Serge Devant and Hoten. In 2020 Luke signed to RADIANT. out of Switzerland (Sabb, Black Circle and OXIA), Oliver Kotetzki’s label A Tribe Called Kotori, California’s Desert Hearts Black and Australian label Interfonic. 2021 is already looking bright with festival announcements for Brisbane’s Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Arcadia as well as a host of other shows to be announced and releases forthcoming on Berlin house and techno heavyweight label Mobilee (Rodriguez Jnr, Claude Von Stroke, AFFKT and Doctor Dru) plus remixes for Flight Facilities, Icarus, Zolablood and Squire.
